WHAT YOU WILL DO  
 
The Energy Rental Coordinator will serve as a key customer contact and consultant at Thompson. Your responsibilities will include recommending equipment and service solutions, providing customer quotes for field orders, and coordinating the logistics process for rental quotations, reservations, and contracts in our rental department. Additionally, you will also be responsible for managing inbound leads and calling on dormant accounts to retain business. I also coordinate PM service scheduling, execute rental return processes to minimize downtime, and maximize rental asset deployment. 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES  
  • Serve as a key customer contact and consultant with responsibility for recommending equipment and service solutions 
  • Provide customer quotes, fulfill orders, and coordinate logistics 
  • Process rental quotations, reservations, and contracts in iRental 
  • Manage inbound leads; communicate information with Rental Sales Representatives 
  • Call on lost and/or dormant accounts to retain business 
  • Coordinate PM/service scheduling 
  • Execute rental/return processes to minimize downtime and maximize rental asset deployment 
  • Partner with all departments at Thompson to ensure excellent customer experience, including seamless communication (internal and external) and ease of doing business 
  • Ensure safety and standard process compliance to realize effective and efficient operations

Basic Qualifications:  
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related major preferred 
  • Two (2) years of industry experience preferred 
  • Strong work ethic, can-do attitude, and excellent communications skills
