Senior Business Intelligence Analyst
The business intelligence analyst provides strategic, analytical, and technical support for business intelligence activities. The analyst leverages data to gain key insights into business opportunities, and effectively presents these insights to business stakeholders. The analyst is also heavily involved with the distribution and successful delivery of BI reports.
  • 5+ years of development experience with data analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI (preferred) or Tableau
  • DAX and Power Query M language
  • 5+ years of experience using SQL Server
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience building ETL processes preferably with SSIS (preferred)
  • Tabular cube development using SSAS (preferred)
  • Report development using SSRS (preferred)
  • PowerShell scripting to automate processes (preferred)
  • Knowledge of IBM DB/2 (preferred)
  • Exhibits business domain knowledge
  • Shows ability to develop business cases
  • Has solid understanding of financial statements and processes
  • Manages and prioritizes tasks in accordance with established project timelines
  • Able to identify surface data trends to drive the most business value

  • Partners with business teams to define and document business requirements for new metrics and reports
  • Designs, develops, and maintains reports and analytical tools
  • Performs ongoing monitoring and refinement of reports
  • Provides technical support for existing reports, dashboards, or other tools
  • Identifies and analyzes errors and inconsistencies in the data and provides timely resolutions
  • Translates data results into written reports, tables, graphs, Power BI dashboards and other reports to convey information to management
  • Creates written communication materials that effectively summarize findings and support recommendations
  • Leverages data warehouse to ensure accuracy and adds new data to meet continuously evolving business needs.
  • Provides insight into the data’s meaning and how it can be used to make decisions.
  • Scopes business needs by collecting relevant facts and investigating problem statements
  • Documents technical work and research to assist colleagues and to improve the support experience using Azure DevOps.
  • Advises employees on ways to leverage technology to improve their processes.
  • Know and follow all Company and customer safety rules, including maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly work area, fully participating in Company accident prevention and safety improvement activities.
  • Must have the physical ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including protective glasses, protective gloves, and protective clothing and footwear as required by the job.

  • Meet all eligibility requirements to drive Company vehicles, including a current, valid driver’s license issued by the resident State, and maintain current motor vehicle liability insurance. 
Physical Requirements
  • Pass pre-employment background check, physical exam including drug screen, and meet all physical requirements for the position. 
  • Able to lift up to 20-50 pounds occasionally.
