INTEGRITY. RESPECT. CLIENT FOCUS.
Stronger Communities video series – Episode 5
“Construction is absolutely vital.”
Building a Reputation
Since 2006, KCS has been putting in the hard work to build up their reputation. Though they started small, the KCS brand is now made up of five different entities: KCS Residential Concrete, KCS Concrete Pumping, KCS Commercial Concrete, KCS Building Group, and KCS Property. They have since done work in Columbia and Murray County as well as in the Nashville area. The key to their success, and the thing that ties each of the entities together, is the great emphasis that they place on their values.
Sticking to their Values
Integrity, respect, and client focus: these are the three key values that KCS adheres to. “I think the biggest thing that we stress here is our integrity,” begins Wade Kincaid. “We really try our best to follow through on what it is that we say without having to be babysat.” They have used this value model to build their team, and they attribute much of their success to that. “It’s the good people that we’ve got on our team that has allowed our business to grow and flourish.” By sticking to that integrity and respect and always taking the high road even when it’s hard, KCS has been able to show their customers excellent quality within their work.
Vital Work
KCS’ emphasis on these values comes from the awareness that the work they are doing is absolutely vital. “Construction touches every single industry and every single thing that we do.” Whether it is paving a driveway or building a neighborhood, their work is expected to stand for a long time. As cities continue to grow and more work needs to be done, KCS wants their customers to be confident that the key values of the company are being upheld as they work on each project.
