Services Committment

Our Services Commitment with a CVA ensures that your maintenance and common repair parts are available when you need them and that your equipment is up and running as quickly as possible with fast and quality service. This allows you to focus on your
operations, knowing that your equipment is well-maintained and reliable.

Parts Availability: 

  • Step 1: Let us know when you need the part
  • Step 2: Maintenance parts available as soon as the end of the next business day **
  • Step 3: Common repair parts available as soon as the end of the second business day ***


Service Response Time: 

  • Step 1: 2-Day Technician Response to fix or diagnose unplanned repairs
  • Step 2: Priority Scheduling for appointment scheduling
  • Step 3: Diagnostics Before Arrival for a quick service appointment
  • Step 4: Progress Updates to keep you informed

If your parts aren’t available when promised, you will receive a Cat Prepaid Credit Card of up to $1,000. ****

* Thompson Machinery’s Services Commitment applies only to new or used Cat machines manufactured within the last 10 years from July 1, 2022, and has an active Customer Value Agreement (CVA) contract on that machine. This includes parts availability commitments and service response commitments. Services Commitment is limited to the agreement life at 10 years.
Some exclusions apply.
**Maintenance parts will be available for customer pick-up by close of business the day following customer provided order need-by-date.
***Common repair parts will be available for customer pick-up by close of business the second business day following the customer provided order need-by-date.
****If the parts availability commitment above is not met, Thompson Machinery will issue a Cat Prepaid Credit of up to $1,000 in favor of the customer for the lesser of the price paid by the customer for the specific Maintenance Part(s) or Repair Part(s) (excluding all taxes or other fees) that were not ready for pick-up. Offer subject to change without prior notice and
restrictions may apply.
