We consistently have availability for Cat technician jobs in Tennessee and Mississippi, particularly in our satellite offices. These locations include areas of Mississippi as well as several major cities in Tennessee.

Corporate Incentive Program – Incentive bonuses are awarded company-wide to eligible, full-time team members when specific monthly, quarterly, and/or annual goals are achieved. + -

Personal Time Off (PTO), Paid Holidays & Floating & Veteran Holiday Thompson provides full time teammates with up to 3 weeks of personal time off. Additional personal time off will increase as years of service continue.
Paid Holidays – Thompson pays the following Holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day following Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.
Floating & Veteran Holiday – All team members get one paid Floating holiday per year. Thompson also recognizes military service by providing a paid Veteran Holiday to all service members. These floating holidays are eligible on the first day of the month, following the hire date. + -

Cat Tool Program, Boot Program & Uniforms Tool Program – Service Technicians can purchase high quality hand and air tools at deep discounts from the company and pay back the interest free loan through payroll deductions.
Boot Program – Thompson provides a yearly amount towards the purchase of work boots.
Uniforms – To eliminate wear and tear on personal clothing, eligible team members are provided work uniforms and professional cleaning services. + -

401k with company match & profit sharing 401k – Thompson Machinery encourages team members to begin planning and saving for their retirement years as early as possible. Newly hired teammates are automatically enrolled at 3% of gross pay at the first of the month after 30 days of hire date.
Profit Sharing – Build a career with Thompson and you will be automatically enrolled into the Profit Sharing Plan after one year of service. Thompson Machinery sets aside 10% of before-tax profits each year for profit sharing. + -

HRA, HSA & Credit Union Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) – Thompson’s HRA is employer funded depending on eligible medical plan.

Basic life, supplemental life insurance, and AD&D Basic Life Insurance – All full-time Thompson team members are provided with one (1) times their annual salary including commission with a $50,000 minimum Life Insurance coverage at no cost to the team member.
Supplemental Life – Additional Life Insurance coverage can be purchased up to $300,000. Dependent life insurance coverage is available for spouse and child(ren).
Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) – To further protect your family in the event of accidental death or dismemberment; coverage up to $300,000 is available for team member and family.
