JOB PROFILE 

Performs scientific testing on various customer and/or company equipment/engine fluid samplesCoordinates evaluation of all fluid sample testing, and reports results accordinglyMaintains highly sensitive equipment and supplies for timely analysis of samples. 

 

BASIC REQUIREMENTS 

  • High School diploma or equivalent. 

  • Prior work experience desired.  

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, vendors or managers related to job functions. 

  • Demonstrate proficiency in the use of basic Microsoft Windows based applications. 

  • Must develop functional ability in the use of proprietary (i.e. Caterpillar, etc.) software. 

  • Must be able to communicate via email effectively and efficiently. 

  • Works independent of supervision on assigned tasks. Moves between projects as scheduling requires. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES   

  • Maintain compliance with Federal, State, Local safety regulations specific to job functions. 

  • Notify customer of results promptly (by phone, email or personally). 

  • Prepare and distribute custom reports and data analysis for assigned operational unit. 

  • Analyze and interpret fluid sample testing results. 

  • Coordinate delivery of fluid sample analysis results to customer 

  • Process fluid samples for evaluation and analysis. 

 

Safety 

  • Know and follow all Company and customer safety rules, including maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly work area, fully participating in Company accident prevention and safety improvement activities. 

  • Must have the physical ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including protective glasses, protective gloves, and protective clothing and footwear as required by the job.
