Jim Kerschbaum Retires from Thompson Truck Center

Jim Kerschbaum, Territory Sales Representative in the Thompson Truck Center in Memphis, is retiring at the end of December, 2017, after serving the company and our customers for almost twenty-six years.

Jim proudly served our country in the U.S. Army Reserve from February 1971 through 1977; following this service, he began his work career in Sales with several trucking and truck related industries, including roles as sales and account manager with Ryder Truck Leasing, Saunders Systems, and Roadway Express.  He joined Thompson Power in 1989 in the Truck Engine Sales department, holding positions as sales representative, TEPS Manager, and Truck Engine Sales Manager.

Recently, Jim has been responsible for sales of used trucks in the Thompson Truck Center as the company has grown with the Cat on-highway truck and the glider truck programs.  He has been a key contributor to the Truck Center’s success, and has been instrumental in helping to develop our sales team.

Please join us in congratulating Jim and wishing him and his wife Wanda all of the best as they move into their retirement.
