Thompson Machinery is pleased to announce that Mike Rattan has joined the company as Cat Rental Store General Manager.
As part of our company’s ongoing efforts to enhance our equipment rental business, this position has been created to help set and manage strategic direction for our Rental Store operations.
Mike has a broad background in the rental equipment industry, and most recently has served as General Manager for LiftOne, LLC based in Smyrna, Tennessee – a subsidiary business owned by our fellow Caterpillar dealer, Carolina Cat. Originally from Texas, Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas.
His management team at the Cat Rental Store includes Chet Kelley, LaVergne Rental Store Manager; Sid Bounds, Memphis Rental Store Manager; and Brian Melani, Rental Store Asset Manager. One of Mike’s immediate initiatives will be the expansion of our fleet of Cat and non-Cat equipment throughout our territory.
